I hit the "I am feeling trapped in my house" feeling today, so I took the kids out for supper. We went and had soup bowls at a deli in town then went to the thrift shop to browse! I love finding treasures *smile* It was a nice out! We have been so busy doing homeschool (and playing on facebook LOL) The kids are loving their facebook pets! It "motivates" them to get their chores and school done so they can have time with their pets *grin*

The New Family Obsession!
...Kimmy needed a pet...then we joined Steven up and of course got him a pet! He laughed a lot about us doing that (HOWEVER...when I am visiting with him on the phone...I can hear him playing with his dog in the background...so even he is addicted now LOL)...then Stevie and Missy wanted their own pets! Kimmy even joined a 2nd time under her online name (I never let her go by her own name when she was younger--so she was afraid her online friends wouldn't know her...and hey! It let her get another pet! *grin*) So now we are up to 6 pets in our family. They tried to convince me the guinea pigs needed their own...but that was kind of pushing it *grin* I mean WHO would register their PET?? (Oh wait...longfeathers did that already too! LOL)
I have a great bargaining tool now...if you don't do your laundry/brush teeth/feed guinea pigs/insert any other chore here...you can't have time on facebook! And if you don't take care of the facebook pet...he starts to look very sad! Anyways...if you have facebook...take a look at the application...it's a BLAST!! (And we'll be friends with YOUR pet too!)
This is my pet, Sanders! I have WAY too much fun buying him goodies from the pet store!

A Tigger-ific Birthday Celebration!
Kimmy definately is the winner with the MOST animals...She is our Eeyore lover! What you can't see is the rest of them...there is a basket full at her feet, more on the couch and she didn't even bring them all down! LOL!!
It was a fun evening with lots of laughing, lots of snacking (pizza rolls and popcorn YUM) and a great appreciation for A.A. Milne's wonderful characters!

People are Interesting!!
I have been trying to declutter and maybe sell a few things on ebay...you know...make a little extra money...it seems like we could always use a little extra *grin*
I have been doing okay...five dollars here...about thirty-fifty a week off and on. Well, this week was interesting! Missy had this doll--that she HATED! It creeped her out! It is called a "Miracle Moves" doll and it moves its mouth and makes baby sounds. She has other dolls that move and talk, but for some reason she has always hated this doll. Interesting!
So...lasst week I decided to try selling it on ebay. I actually knew where all the pieces were LOL! Can you believe someone paid $61.49 for this doll??? Someone must obviously have more money to blow than me! Good grief! That is a LOT of money for a USED doll! Too funny! Hey one step closer to my lawn furniture I want though LOL!

I LOVE to Stamp...Now Why Don't I Do It More Often???
Each year for Christmas, I like to give my mom and Steven's mom a box of cards they can use throughout the year. Birthday, baby, wedding, etc. It gives me a reason to stamp...and they seem to like it
I also am planning on trying to stamp cards to send to Iraq for Steven and his team to be able to use. They are in such a remote location...it is hard to get cards to send home to family--so I thought that would be a fun service project this year!
Anyways...I thought it might be fun to share my latest with family and friends! Kind of a "sneak peak" for the moms even! Today's big project was f

The card below is one I stamped up while Steven's sister was here visiting. I needed a baby card for my niece Julee's new cute baby! It's a fun card--the little duck is yellow flocking--so he is soft to the touch!

So those are the two most recent cards! If I haven't shared soon...remind me of my goal! I need all the encouragement I can get LOL! This is my fun "for me" project that always seems to get put on the back burner with all the other "need-to-do-jobs" that come up in life and I miss it when I don't get to be covered in glitter and glue!
Another Cook in the Family!
He even made cheese covered biscuits to go with our dinner. The first time the can "popped" kind of suprised him!
Kimmy was his "Cooking Mentor" for the meal...but he did most of the work himself!
And the best part? The eating!! Remember how I was nervous about the soup? I had TWO servings and begged the leftovers!! It was DELICIOUS!!
