Baby Bunnies and UFO's

Tonight while Steven was mowing the yard, he yelled for everyone to come look what he found! (Actually---I was just informed---KIMBERLY found the bunny *smile*) Over by our fence was this CUTE baby bunny! They hurried and caught it so we could all look at it. I didn't know they could jump so high!! They had put it in the file box we use when we change the guinea pigs and it almost got out before I could take a picture. Then we let it go--after the "paparazzi" got its picture--but you have to admit--he is pretty dang cute! Too bad my mom wasn't here--she LOVES bunnies and has LOTS of stuffed ones throughout her WHOLE house!

We celebrated another fun holiday today (I know--we're WEIRD!!) On this date in 1875, the first UFO sighting was documented. Since gas is so high, and it was a workday--a trip to Roswell wasn't in the cards for us! Instead, we "abducted" the kids and took them to the local baseball field by us to play frisbee at night with our glow-in-the-dark frisbee. (Sorry the pictures aren't too great--it was DARK! *smile*) Afterwards, we went to the shopette to get "Star Crunch" cookies--I wanted "Moon Pies" but they don't sell them BUMMER!! Yet another holiday in the Mom Mis-Adventure Handbook *grin*
