Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

Thursday was Missy's 10th birthday (Good grief--am I that old!! I CAN'T have a 10 year old baby??) Missy is my lovebug! She loves to cuddle and snuggle with her mom! I hope she NEVER gets too old to do that! She came into the world in a hurry--she was about a month early. We joke that she just couldn't bear to leave the other M&M girls. There were 3 of us in the family pregnant at the same time. We were about 6 weeks apart in due dates--but amazingly--we all had our babies within 24 hours of one another--and all named the girls "M" names! There is Melissa, Marissa and Mattea! When I am actually close to home, we try to celebrate their birthday together. Here is an older photo--but still shows the three birthday girls:

We had a BUSY day for Missy's birthday this year! We were still on our crunch time for homeschool--so we did homeschool until about 3:00. Missy chose her favorite meal for lunch--Mom's homemade Macaroni and Cheese with Cheese Chunks! Steven got home about 3:30 (but had to go back and work until midnight later that evening *sigh*) We took her to Game Stop and she chose a new game boy game for her birthday--then she wanted to go thrift shopping (a girl after my own heart!) We had a fun supper at McCallister's Deli where the kids all had bread bowls with broccoli cheese soup and then to the grocery store to pick up a cake (Normally Steven makes them--but work has been BUSY this week--so I cheated!) A tradition in our house is a "Birthday Chase-her" treasure hunt for the presents. Kimmy and Stevie put this one together with the cutest clues! We chased her all over the house--upstairs and down! It was a FUN day!! I still can't believe my baby is a DECADE old! I love you Baby Girl!

This is Missy on the hunt for presents!

Missy and her beautiful NOT BLONDE Barbie doll! Of course a brunette child would want her Barbie to look more like her!

This is Missy's BIG present! Stevie never let Missy watch any of her "Girlie Pink" movies in his room--so we felt like she needed her own TV! We were very blessed to find this cute TV/DVD combo in a pawn shop while my parents were here this spring! I was THRILLED!! (And so was she!)

This is the present Missy says is her favorite--it's a charm bracelet FULL of Disney characters! (Even Piglet--her FAVORITE!!)

This is Missy's present from Grandma and Grandpa Sullivan--VERY COOL markers! She quickly made me a present with them--a card that said "Best Mom in the World" Ahhhhh!

Here is Missy with her birthday cake! Very pretty and VERY Yummy! Wish we could have shared a piece with all of you!!
