Heidi's Crafty Night...

It all started with birthday party invitations...well that's not quite right...it all started with a cutesy to hand out to all my visiting teachers tomorrow (I am the coordinator) but I can't share that yet--since they might be reading the blog! (I will share pictures of them tomorrow!) Anyways...so back to the invitations...I made a few invitations for a friend tonight using my cricut (Man I love that machine!) I thought they were too fun! The pink behind the fairy is a metallic pink and her wings and tutu are vellum--she is also pop-dotted off the paper--hard to show all the cutesy stuff in just a scan--sorry!

Well, since I had the cricut machine out...I decided to tackly my fence project. I found this adorable fence one day at the PX and HAD to have it--I put it on layaway and finally got it out right before Steven left. We have called our family the "Weatherston Zoo" for several years now and I knew I would come up with some fun way to use it. I thought about putting vinyl lettering above it or below it but nothing looked quite right...until one day I realized...

... "Weatherston Zoo" fits perfectly on the fence posts! PERFECT! Now it is in our entryway welcoming everyone to the Zoo!
