Today is Satur-date...and he is not here! I miss him *sigh* He is my knight in shining armour--my protector--my handsome!
This is the picture I always carry in my purse. It was taken about 10 years ago when he was the Cubmaster. The theme was "Knights of the Roundtable" and we were having a knights contest with the boys. I couldn't find a crown...so our King had a sequined fedora! I just thought he looked handsome...even with the tights *grin* He was always so willing to dress up and do fun stuff with his scouts! (or anything I happened to be volunteering with at the time! I'll have to find the pictures of him dressed up as a giant FROG from when I ran a reading contest at the elementary school) His scouts LOVED him and so do I!!
I miss you handsome! Our family puzzle is missing a giant piece without you!
