Kung Fu Kiddos!!

Kung Fun Panda came out this week and my kids were SO excited to watch it! Kimmy got to see it in the theater with some friends, but the rest of us...well...what can I say...I'm CHEAP!! By the time I take everyone to the theater--we can BUY the movie and OWN it! LOL!! So...we got to have Kung Fu Night!!

This is MY red panda! (I collect bears) The inside joke on him is that at the Idaho Falls Zoo, the real panda NEVER faced the front for me...I always got to see the ummmmm...backside! I bought the stuffed animal so I could remember all the fun trips to the zoo we took last year while Steven was in Korea. HOWEVER, my hoodlums think it is tremendously funny to always have his behind facing me. He lives on the top of the fireplace in the bedroom--and everytime I turn him frontwards...by bedtime his behind is facing front again.

Tonight though...in honor of the Kung Fu Panda movie--since one of the characters is a red panda...the kids insisted the panda come watch the movie. *sigh* My chair was behind the couch in my "zone"...so I still got to only see panda butt!

Isn't he handsome? He looks more and more like his dad every day!


Missy cuddling with her "daddy pillow" he gave her before he left. She has sad eyes...I think she might have been homesick for him. (ME TOO!!)

If looks could kill...I think she was not happy to see the camera in her face AGAIN!! Okay...so maybe mom is a little camera happy right now??

After the movie was over, the kids practiced their "Ku Fu Moves"...I think we had better leave the bad-guy-getting to someone else!
