I Listened...I Learned...I Succeeded...

...Well, mostly! I admit it, I have a husband who treats me special! Okay...he spoils me! Before he left for Iraq, he took a lot of time just doing things for me that would make this year easier. He put in those curly lightbulbs that are supposed to last a long time--so I wouldn't have to worry about climbing on furniture to change lights. He precut me stew meat and veggies because he is WAY BETTER with the kitchen knives than me--you can see light through his cheese slices! He had the oil changed in both cars and did maintenance...mowed and trimmed lawns, cleaned storage units...well you get the idea!

We also had lessons. Now first you have to understand...I am NOT a good student...my brain wanders WAY too much! I tried honey...I really tried to file all the lessons in the brain! The "how-to-tie Stevie's tie" lesson...well, that one failed *sigh* This morning getting him ready for church--both he and I realzed we failed that lesson. We will either be wikipedia-ing tie tying or talk to some YM leaders *grin*. The "how-to-check-the-oil" lesson...the jury is still out...I will let you know. BUT...the "how-to-change-the-water-bottle" lesson...SCORE!! I passed! We have a big black and decker water cooler and he has always changed the bottles for me! Tonight with no spilling (well, maybe JUST a little) I got the bottle changed! See honey...I did listen *grin* Now to work on that tying the tie...

I am thinking - draw a tie on his shirt with a magic marker. So when you button up the shirt, Voila! a tie
