The Traveling Man is in Spain

We walked in the door from our errands to the phone ringing...IT WAS HANDSOME!! He was able to find a wireless connection and call me! He also sent me a bunch more pictures! Maybe he did listen when I BEGGED that he send me lots of pictures this year!!

He is on a layover at the US Naval Station in Rota Spain.

They couldn't leave the base in uniform...so he got to get dressed up in his civilian clothes and play tourist! Isn't he handsome???

Steven loves to play chess...just not with me! He tried to teach me ONCE in our early married life. I got bored REAL quick (did I mention I am ADD??) and had the queen and king pieces being married by the bishop and pulled away on their honeymoon with the knight's horses and the pawns. Never did try again LOL!

I guess they are passing away a lot of the time playing cards on the plane and waiting for planes.

This is his motel room at the base motel--he says the bed is only about 3-1/2 feet wide--no rolling around there huh? I would have a hard time...I am a bed hog! *smile*

This picture just makes me grateful for my washer and dryer. He said there is laundry hanging out all over the place! I love the ability to do laundry whenever I want or need!

This is the outside of the base...wow I can read a foreign language *snickering* Okay...maybe that was too easy of a test!

I think this picture is just to torment his wife who loves sweets?? This was a pastry shop they saw on their tourist trip!

I asked him to take a picture of their plane...so I could see what it was exactly he was flying on...since it was a military flight not a civilian plane. Pretty big!
